In early trading on Thursday, shares of Broadcom topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 5.2%. Year to date, Broadcom has lost about 6.4% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Qualcomm, trading down 8.7%. Qualcomm is lower by about 20.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Strategy, trading down 6.1%, and Netflix, trading up 3.2% on the day.
