Credit: Shutterstock photoIn trading on Monday, the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF ( XBI ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Progenics Pharma ( PGNX ), up about 16% and shares of Xoma ( XOMA ), up about 7.5% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Junior Gold Miners ETF ( GDXJ ), down about 1.2% in Monday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Monday were shares of Novagold Resources ( NG ), lower by about 5.4%, and shares of Gabriel Resources (GBU.CA), lower by about 5.3% on the day.
