Monday Sector Laggards: Precious Metals, Semiconductors

In trading on Monday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 6.3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Vista Gold, off about 10.9% and shares of IAMGold down about 10.8% on the day.

Also lagging the market Monday are semiconductors shares, down on the day by about 2.3% as a group, led down by Monolithic Power Systems, trading lower by about 20.5% and Wolfspeed, trading lower by about 9.9%.
