Methanex (TSE:MX) has released an update.
Methanex Corporation, the world’s largest methanol supplier, has temporarily halted operations at its Egypt facility due to reduced gas supply and increased power demand. The company is actively working with its partner and gas supplier to restore the gas supply and resume production. This disruption affects 0.63 million tonnes of Methanex’s annual methanol production.
