MEDIROM Partners With TOPPAN For Health Monitoring System

(RTTNews) - MEDIROM Healthcare Technologies Inc. (MRM), a health tech company, on Tuesday announced that its subsidiary, MEDIROM MOTHER Labs, will provide TOPPAN Inc. with its remote health monitoring system, REMONY, and the MOTHER Bracelet a recharge-free smart tracker.

TOPPAN, a Japanese global printing company known for its employee health initiatives, will use these tools to enhance the health monitoring of employees, particularly those living alone or on solo assignments.

The system allows for early detection of health abnormalities and promotes safety in remote or isolated work environments.

The MOTHER Bracelet is the world's first 24/7 recharge-free smart tracker, utilizing advanced technology that generates power from temperature differences between the body and the surrounding air.

It continuously monitors five key health metrics: heart rate, body temperature, step count, sleep, and calories burned.

The REMONY system pairs the MOTHER Bracelet with a dedicated gateway, enabling automatic data synchronization and real-time health management.

It's designed to provide continuous monitoring, overcoming the common issue of data loss due to charging interruptions seen with other wearable devices.

This collaboration supports TOPPAN's goal to create a safer and more supportive work environment, with the added benefit of contributing to MEDIROM's mission of becoming a leader in big data healthcare solutions.

The REMONY system is customizable for a wide range of industries, including elder care, night shift worker monitoring, and more.

Currently, MRM is trading at $0.95 down by 4.54%.
