Premium provider of personal computer and tablet accessories, Logitech International SALOGI has recently launched Logitech ConferenceCam Kit in collaboration with Intel Corp.'s INTC NUC video conferencing system. Priced at $1599, the Logitech ConferenceCam Kit will be commercially available starting Apr 2016.
Logitech's cloud-based video conferencing services were among the key growth drivers at the company during the third quarter of fiscal 2016. The recent product launch reflects Logitech's intention of tapping the high-potential accessories market by pursuing innovation and expanding its product lines.
The ConferenceCam Kit integrates Logitech's ConferenceCam with Intel's NUC and Unite application, and can be virtually connected with all PC-based cloud services seamlessly. While the Logitech ConferenceCam offers superior quality video conferencing with HD 1080p video and professional audio, Intel NUC will aid HD video conferencing by supporting multiple HD and 4K UHD displays. The Intel Unite application allows wireless content sharing on a PC or Mac computers, thereby enabling an easy conference configuration. Moreover, the Kit comes with a fully configurable and simple user interface, Iluminari Quicklaunch SE, which is aimed to minimize the need for user training.
Meanwhile, business enterprises face challenges while installing comprehensive video conferencing systems in meeting spaces, as the existing purchasing, configuring and deploying processes associated with the same are quite expensive. ConferenceCam Kit, on the other hand, is compatible with all devices, easy to use, more affordable than any other existing conferencing system, and transcends beyond the conventional "boardroom telepresence system". So, Logitech believes that the latest offering stands in good stead to gain rapid market traction.
At present, only Microsoft Corp.'s MSFT Windows 10 Pro provides a similar user experience, thereby leaving sufficient demand for Logitech's products. Also, the Logitech Conference Kit is able to adapt to the evolving needs of both IT and users over time, which makes it one of the most flexible and reliable videoconferencing systems. It can also be paired up with existing offerings from Logitech Collaboration Program members such as BlueJeans and Zoom, allowing the user to create a superior meeting experience for users.

Logitech has been focused on manufacturing a host of innovative offerings like the fastest performing mouse and keyboard switches, wireless mouse with longest battery, among others. With such a strong product roster, Logitech is highly optimistic about further growth in its mobile speaker and video collaboration categories.
