Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Carnival (CCL): An investor sold 17,186 January 36.50 calls for $3 against previous open interest and bought 34,372 January 41.50 calls for the ask price of $1.35. He or she apparently rolled a long position to the higher strike, took money off the table, and increased its size. CCL fell 1.35 percent to $36.53. (See related story )

Zeltiq Aethetics (ZLTQ): A block of 3,000 November 17.50 calls was sold for $3.20 as a trader looked to exit a long position in the medical-device maker. ZLTQ rose 5.42 percent to $17.90.

iShares U.S. Real Estate fund (IYR): More than 10,000 weekly 64 puts expiring next Friday, April 25, were sold for $0.07 to $0.10 as investors look for the sector to hold its ground. IYR rose 0.64 percent to $67.95.
