Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Dollar General (DG): More than 40,000 August 57.50 calls and August 60 calls traded. It appears that an existing long position was rolled to the lower strike as an investor lowered his or her breakeven in hope of a rebound. DG rose 0.87 percent to $56.91.
Rovi (ROVI): Almost 5,300 April 25 calls were bought for $0.50 and $0.60 as investors look for upside in the share price. ROVI rose 1.15 percent to $23.85.
Spectra Energy (SE): An investor sold 3,000 September 39 calls for $0.80, betting that upside will be limited in the natural-gas pipeline company. SE fell 0.09 percent to $37.66.
