There is a new app called Burner that uses a feature called Ghostbot to push undesirables away.
Burner allows you to create and destroy numbers at your leisure, and it uses Ghostbot to shoo people away. You can assign the bot to any active "Burner."
This means that if someone is texting you and you'd like for them to stop without writing them yourself, Ghostbot will show up to the rescue and let the other person know you're not interested.
It can be polite, sassy, or downright rude at times, but it seems to be effective.
