The iShares North American Tech-Multimedia Networking ETF ( IGN ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 553,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 96,000. Shares of IGN were off about 1.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Cisco Systems ( CSCO ), trading off about 2% with over 19.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Qualcomm ( QCOM ), off about 2.9% on volume of over 6.2 million shares. Arista Networks ( ANET ) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 1.2% on the day, while Netgear ( NTGR ) is lagging other components of the iShares North American Tech-Multimedia Networking ETF, trading lower by about 4.7%.
