Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: EEMS

The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Small-Cap ETF ( EEMS ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 675,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 74,000. Shares of EEMS were down about 0.6% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Seaspan ( SSW ), trading up about 0.1% with over 1.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Xunlei ( XNET ), up about 5.2% on volume of over 1.4 million shares. Fanhua ( FANH ) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 7.2% on the day, while China Yuchai International ( CYD ) is lagging other components of the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Small-Cap ETF, trading lower by about 4.5%.
