In trading on Friday, general contractors & builders shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 7%. Leading the group were shares of LGI Homes, up about 14.2% and shares of Hovnanian Enterprises up about 12.5% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are construction materials & machinery shares, up on the day by about 4.6% as a group, led by Builders FirstSource, trading up by about 11.3% and JELD-WEN Holding, trading up by about 8.7% on Friday.
