Friday Sector Laggards: Department Stores, Metals & Mining Stocks

In trading on Friday, department stores shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.2%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Big Lots, off about 15.7% and shares of Costco Wholesale down about 6.1% on the day.

Also lagging the market Friday are metals & mining shares, down on the day by about 0.3% as a group, led down by American Battery Technology, trading lower by about 5.8% and UR-Energy, trading lower by about 5.4%.
