Friday Sector Laggards: Manufacturing, Biotechnology Stocks

In trading on Friday, manufacturing shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4.5%. Helping drag down the group were shares of AmpliTech Group, off about 33% and shares of LightPath Technologies down about 14.7% on the day.

Also lagging the market Friday are biotechnology shares, down on the day by about 4% as a group, led down by Cibus, trading lower by about 21.1% and Zentalis Pharmaceuticals, trading lower by about 17.4%.
