In early trading on Thursday, shares of Dow topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 4.1%. Year to date, Dow Inc registers a 18.9% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Walgreens Boots Alliance, trading down 0.5%. Walgreens Boots Alliance is lower by about 20.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Johnson & Johnson, trading down 0.4%, and Boeing trading up 2.1% on the day.
