In early trading on Monday, shares of Verizon Communications topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.4%. Year to date, Verizon Communications Inc registers a 12.1% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is NVIDIA, trading down 2.6%. NVIDIA is showing a gain of 179.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Nike, trading down 1.9%, and McDonald's, trading up 0.9% on the day.
