In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Chevron topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 0.5%. Year to date, Chevron registers a 10.1% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is NVIDIA, trading down 2.8%. NVIDIA is lower by about 13.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Amazon.com, trading down 2.2%, and JPMorgan Chase, trading up 0.4% on the day.
