In early trading on Friday, shares of Cisco Systems topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.3%. Year to date, Cisco Systems registers a 6.5% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Nike, trading down 2.6%. Nike is lower by about 7.7% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Amazon.com, trading down 2.0%, and NVIDIA, trading up 1.1% on the day.
