In early trading on Thursday, shares of Nike topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 1.5%. Year to date, Nike has lost about 19.5% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Home Depot, trading down 1.2%. Home Depot is lower by about 5.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are UnitedHealth Group, trading down 1.2%, and Microsoft, trading up 1.0% on the day.
