In early trading on Thursday, shares of Walmart topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.2%. Year to date, Walmart registers a 18.1% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Cisco Systems, trading down 7.3%. Cisco Systems is showing a gain of 2.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are International Business Machines, trading down 1.9%, and Salesforce, trading up 1.7% on the day.
