In early trading on Friday, shares of Walt Disney topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.6%. Year to date, Walt Disney registers a 24.0% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Amgen, trading down 3.1%. Amgen is lower by about 0.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Amazon.com, trading down 2.9%, and UnitedHealth Group, trading up 0.9% on the day.
