In early trading on Thursday, shares of Dow (DOW) topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 4.4%. Year to date, Dow has lost about 1.0% of its value.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is 3M (MMM), trading down 4.2%. 3M is lower by about 15.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Cisco Systems (CSCO), trading down 0.9%, and Visa (V), trading up 1.6% on the day.
