Diana Shipping (DSX) has released an update.
Diana Shipping Inc. has announced a new time charter contract with Cobelfret S.A. for the Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel m/v Myrsini, set to commence on June 25, 2024. The contract, at a daily rate of $17,100 less a 5% commission, will last until early 2025 and is expected to generate approximately $3.71 million in gross revenue. This development comes as Diana Shipping Inc. continues to expand its fleet, which will include 38 dry bulk vessels after the sale of m/v Houston and the delivery of two new methanol dual fuel vessels by 2028.
