Credit: Shutterstock photoRoss University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM), a part of DeVry Education Group Inc.DV , recently announced a new program called PawPad. PawPad offers iPad based learning apps for digitally advanced multimedia-based learning.
PawPad includes the study material of RUSVM curriculum in the form of gaming and multimedia presentations. It also comprises an online student portal, library reference material, e-books and outside learning apps. The PawPads will be available to students in the Sep 2016 incoming class.
Earlier this month, Becker Professional Education, a subsidiary of DeVry Education Group updated its CPA Exam Review course and products in order to reflect the changes in the CPA exam to be held in Apr 2017. In addition to providing a recommended study path and performance reports, this course includes modular content, interactive tools and integrated materials. The new updated version also includes Becker's New Accounting for Empires Educational Game. The game comprises correct answers to multiple-choice questions and task-based simulations, which will eventually prepare students for their CPA exams.
The use of gaming and multimedia should appeal to students while helping them master the contents of the academic programs. Introduction of these applications should contribute to the top line in the near term.
