The technology of self-driving vehicles has taken a step forward with human drone taxis .
Chinese company Ehang is developing an autonomous drone that serves a taxi, capable of carrying one passenger from one destination to another without a human on the driver's seat.
The human drone taxi is being called the 184, and Ehang has received approval to test the vehicle in the streets of Las Vegas.
The prototype is more than 4ft tall and it weighs 440lb. It comes equipped with a touchscreen that allows customers to mark down their destination.
