Natalie Rothman
Chief Human Resources Officer, The Hershey Company; Board Member
Natalie Rothman is an experienced corporate executive and three-time CHRO with over twenty-five years of experience working in consumer products, foodservice, beauty, retail and automotive.
Since 2022, Natalie has served as the Chairperson for the Compensation Committee and is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee for Udemy (NASDAQ:UDMY). At Udemy, Natalie participated in the CEO Succession process appointing Hugo Sarrazin in March 2025, partnered with the management team to file the first proxy, and established improved governance processes for the Compensation and Nominating and Governance Committees. Natalie also currently serves on the Emory Goizueta Business School Advisory Board since February 2025 and the Human Capital Advisory Board for New Mountain Capital since May 2025.
Since August 2025, Natalie serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for The Hershey Company which is a 12b business with operations in Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia (NYSE:HSY). Natalie is the management lead for the compensation committee, participates in quarterly board meetings and has participated in the recruitment of new Board Directors. She is also responsible for CEO and C-Suite succession planning. Natalie is the Co-sponsor with the CTO on Digital Mindset which is an enterprise initiative to drive adoption of AI and automation.
From May 2023-May 2025, Natalie was the Chief People Officer for Inspire Brands which is a multi-brand, global restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 32,000 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC restaurants. Previous to Inspire Brands, Natalie was the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Advance Auto Parts from 2016-2023 (NYSE: AAP). Natalie participated in Advance’s quarterly board meetings, served as the management lead for the Compensation Committee, participated in recruiting new Board of Director roles and was responsible for C-Suite succession planning. Prior to joining Advance, Natalie served in Human Resources leadership roles at PepsiCo from 2006-2016. She also worked as an employment and labor attorney with the law firm Brown Raysman in New York from 2003 to 2006.
Natalie earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, M.A. from American University in Human Resource Management and International Communication and B.A. in Speech Communication and French from Ithaca College. She is also a member of the NY and NJ Bar.
