David Tsoi is the Head of Index Research, APAC at Nasdaq, where he is responsible for index research initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region.

Before joining Nasdaq, David spearheaded the development of more than 20 ETFs at Global X ETFs, including the world’s first Asia green bond ETF and APAC's largest covered call ETF. Earlier in his career, David served at the Securities and Futures Commission, contributing to policy development for the asset management industry and overseeing product authorization, including the approval of Hong Kong’s first ESG ETF.

David holds a broad range of professional qualifications, including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
