Nasdaq Offers Unparalleled Experience to ETF Issuers and their Clients

Perhaps one of the most iconic buildings in New York’s Times Square is the Nasdaq MarketSite and Tower. Looming seven stories over the heart of mid-town, the Tower is one of the most recognizable electronic billboards in the city. Being featured on the Tower and taking part in an opening or closing market bell ceremony is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity afforded to those who work with Nasdaq.

On June 13, Nasdaq opened its MarketSite doors, which is also the company’s global headquarters, to the more than 70 financial advisors invited to participate in the first Nasdaq Advisor Appreciation Event. Guests of Nasdaq ETF issuer clients and of Nasdaq Dorsey Wright were invited to close the market with Nasdaq during its bell ceremony, followed by a reception.

Sean Wasserman, VP and Head of Index and Advisor Solutions at Nasdaq, addressed the attendees, “On behalf of Nasdaq, our ETF Issuer clients, and insurance partners who have invited you as guests today, we are delighted to host you at Nasdaq MarketSite for the ringing of the closing bell.”

“Since we opened as the world’s first electronic stock exchange, we have driven participation in the capital markets. Along the way we’ve partnered with asset management and insurance firms to bring innovative products to market to help the financial advisor community reach more investors and achieve their goals.”

Prior to the market close, attendees were able to join a Nasdaq Dorsey Wright (NDW) Relative Strength Institute to learn more about the NDW methodology, research platform, ETFs and Separately Managed Accounts. Guests were also given a live demonstration of Fundinsight, Nasdaq's free fund research tool for advisors.
