Galderma Highlights Recent Restylane Approvals At 30-Year Mark

(RTTNews) - Galderma Group AG (GALD.SW, GDERF) announced that its Restylane injectable aesthetic product line has reached its 30th anniversary since its European launch. Restylane, which was introduced as a hyaluronic acid injectable, has since expanded into a portfolio of products for use across many facial and body treatment areas.

Galderma's product portfolio spans injectable aesthetics, dermatological skincare, and therapeutic dermatology. The Restylane portfolio includes gels with varying levels of firmness and flexibility, designed to support different aesthetic treatment needs.

The Restylane portfolio recently received EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification for products developed using its NASHA HD, NASHA and OBT technologies. The certification reflects the portfolio's compliance with EU requirements for medical device safety, quality and performance.

Restylane Shaype also recently received European Union (EU) approval to correct and enhance the chin area. Restylane Shaype is a minimally invasive injectable designed to provide structural support in the chin area, which has traditionally also been treated with surgical implants.

Restylane Shaype uses Galderma's NASHA HD technology, designed to provide structural support and contouring in the lower face.

Earlier this year, a new Restylane syringe received approvals in the EU, U.S. and Canada for use with NASHA lidocaine products in several facial indications.

Restylane Volyme received U.S. approval in March 2026 for correcting temple hollowing using a dual-layer injection technique involving both a needle and cannula.

For the first half of 2026, Galderma's Injectable Aesthetics net sales totalled $1.44 billion, up 12.1% year over year at constant currency from $1.24 billion in the prior year.

Galderma received a U.S. Food and Drug Administration FDA Complete Response Letter for RelabotulinumtoxinA, an injectable botulinum toxin treatment, related to manufacturing-site observations and analytical method optimisation. The company is working to address the issues and advance the product to the next stage.

GALD.SW has traded between CHF 134.70 and CHF 188.25 over the past year. The stock closed Monday's trade at CHF 161.45.

GALD.SW is currently up 1.89% at CHF 164.50.
