Birgit M. Liodden is the founder of the world's first floating entrepreneur lab, and global ecosystem for ocean innovators with partners from 17 countries. Birgit has worked to push sustainability, entrepreneurship, next generation & diversity across the maritime industry for 15 years.

Ms. Liodden has contributed in a range of global and national initiatives, and currently holds a number of executive board roles. Chair: Norwegian Organization for Electric Boats, Cimber, Valiant Property. Board: The Factory, GreenStat, Bellona Foundation and The Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue.
She serves on the Executive Committee of Polytechnic Association and the advisory boards of REV Ocean, FutureTalks, SHE Community, Generation Mobility and Southern Africa Norway Association. Editorial Board of PAN/Harvest Magazine.
In 2018, BIrgit M. Liodden interviewed President Barack Obama in front of 3000 executives, and she has moderated a number of Ministers and top executives. She has served as keynote speaker in numerous global business conferences and has received a number of awards & rankings for her leadership in Norway and abroad. In 2018, she was among the 150 top finalists for World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders. She is also a U.S. State Dept. IVLP Alumn, and of SIKT, H.K.H Crown Prince Haakon of Norway's young leader network.
In 2020, Ms. Liodden chaired the UN Environmental Assembly's Act#ForNature and Innovation Norway's national Innovation Speech. She was recently ranked among the top 100 influential women of international shipping.
