About This Event

NewAmsterdam Pharma (Nasdaq: NAMS), a late-stage, clinical biopharmaceutical company focused on improving outcomes for patients with metabolic diseases, visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to celebrate its annual R&D Day.

The company recently shared positive data around obicetrapib, an investigational oral, low-dose and once-daily CETP inhibitor, for patients at risk of CVD with elevated LDL-C, for whom existing therapies are not effective or well tolerated, which were published simultaneously in the New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet. The company gathered with investors today and provided updates on obicetrapib’s clinical progress over the past year, the company’s commercial readiness plans and updates on future milestones.

In honor of the occasion, Michael Davidson, Chief Executive Officer of NewAmsterdam Pharma, rings the Closing Bell.

"We are greatly encouraged by the clinical and corporate milestones achieved over the past year that reinforce the transformative potential of obicetrapib to address a critical unmet need in cardiovascular care,” said Michael Davidson, M.D., Chief Executive Officer. “With each of our Phase 3 trials meeting their primary endpoints, we see a clear path forward. We are fully committed to advancing our clinical, regulatory and commercial strategies to ensure that this promising therapy reaches patients worldwide who need it most."
