AFS Intercultural Programs visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to ring the Opening Bell for the first time in the organization’s more than 100-year-long history. AFS is a global not-for-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. The upcoming International Youth Day which recognizes the need for intergenerational solidarity to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be marked at The Youth Assembly, one of AFS’ most impactful platforms for empowering young global leaders to transform the world.
