Thomas Goetz

Tom Goetz is a Specialist on Nasdaq's U.S. Options Strategy team, where he supports equity and index options markets across Nasdaq's six U.S. options exchanges. In his role, Tom designs systematic approaches to deliver data-driven insights on market structure and market quality that help to maintain Nasdaq's leading position in the competitive US derivatives market.

Prior to joining the Options team, Tom spent several years on the Economic Research team at Nasdaq, conducting research across equity and options markets. Before Nasdaq, Tom worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Delaware, where he was pursuing his PhD in Economics.

Tom holds a B.S. in Economics from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania as well as an M.S. in Economics and Applied Econometrics from the University of Delaware.
