Paul Andrews

Paul Andrews is Managing Director for Research, Advocacy, & Standards for CFA Institute. Paul is also a current member of the CFA Institute Systemic Risk Council. Previously he was Secretary General of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) where he served two terms. Prior to his role at IOSCO, Paul served as Vice President and Managing Director, International Affairs, of FINRA, a government-authorized not-for-profit organization that oversees US broker dealers. Earlier, he served as Senior Managing Director, Business Operations – Europe, at Nasdaq Europe among other roles at that firm. Paul began his career as a law associate in the US, followed by a role as senior special council at the US Securities and Exchange Commission. He holds a BA in Economics from Villanova University and a Juris Doctorate in Law from the Catholic University School of Law.
