In 2001, he co-founded a Bermuda-based private placement life insurance carrier.
Since bringing private placement solutions onshore with Investors Preferred in 2013, Alan has helped hundreds of sophisticated investors access U.S.-based solutions that generally offer less complexity, lower costs, more attractive minimums, and the ability to fund a new policy with “in-kind” transfers of an existing portfolio.
Alan has been active in a variety nonprofits and associations over the years. He’s served as a board member and in board leadership roles for numerous nonprofit boards, as well as for two homeowner’s associations.
