Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the The Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund, where 7,250,000 units were destroyed, or a 3.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLU, in morning trading today Nextera Energy is off about 1.1%, and Southern is lower by about 0.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Ultra MSCI Japan, which lost 110,000 of its units, representing a 29.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of EZJ, in morning trading today Ishares Msci Japan Index Fund is off about 1.8%.
