Wheat Sees Gains on Tuesday

The wheat complex posted strength across the three exchanges on Tuesday. Chicago SRW contracts closed the Tuesday session with contracts 5 ¼ to 8 ½ cents higher. KC HRW futures were 2 ¾ to 6 ¼ cents higher on the day. MPLS spring wheat was up 9 to 12 1/4 cents at the close

On Monday, President Trump called for Ukraine to halt attacking Russian energy infrastructure. Both countries seemed interested in the proposal on the surface, though strikes on energy infrastructure on Tuesday seemed to counter those ideas.

French wheat production for 2026 is estimated at 31.7 MMT according to the country’s farm ministry, down 0.2 MMT from last month. An Algeria tender was set for Tuesday, with a total of nearly 500,000 MT of wheat purchased.

Dec 26 CBOT Wheat  closed at $7.28 1/2, up 6 1/2 cents,

Mar 27 CBOT Wheat  closed at $7.44 1/2, up 5 1/4 cents,

Dec 26 KCBT Wheat  closed at $7.96 1/4, up 3 3/4 cents,

Mar 27 KCBT Wheat  closed at $8.09 3/4, up 3 cents,

Dec 26 MIAX Wheat  closed at $7.49 1/2, up 12 1/4 cents,

Mar 27 MIAX Wheat  closed at $7.69 1/4, up 11 3/4 cents,
