Wheat Facing Double Digit Weakness on Thursday

The wheat complex is posting double digit losses at midday. Chicago SRW are trading down 14 to 15 1/4 cents at midday. KC HRW futures is showing 11 to 13 cent losses on Friday. MPLS spring wheat is 11 to 14 cents lower.

Money is likely coming off the table into the weekend. Exports out of the Black Sea are still limited from Russian and Ukraine despite recent calls for deescalation.

Export Sales data from this Thursday took the 2026/27 wheat sales to 9.178 MMT, which is now down 30% from the same week last year. That is 44% of the USDA export projection and lags the 53% average pace.

Dec 26 CBOT Wheat  is at $7.11 3/4, down 15 1/4 cents,

Mar 27 CBOT Wheat  is at $7.28, down 15 cents,

Dec 26 KCBT Wheat  is at $7.81 3/4, down 12 3/4 cents,

Mar 27 KCBT Wheat  is at $7.95 1/2, down 11 1/2 cents,

Dec 26 MIAX Wheat  is at $7.38, down 14 1/2 cents,

Mar 27 MIAX Wheat  is at $7.60, down 11 1/2 cents,
