The SPDR Dow Jones Global Real Estate ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 908,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 49,000. Shares of RWO were up about 0.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Healthpeak Properties, trading down about 3.4% with over 3.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Alexandria Real Estate Equities, down about 7.4% on volume of over 2.7 million shares. Service Properties Trust is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 3.7% on the day.
