In trading on Wednesday, the Global X Lithium & Battery Tech ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sociedad Quimica Y Minera, up about 5.3% and shares of Albemarle, up about 4.7% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF, down about 2.2% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Wednesday were shares of PBF Energy, lower by about 7.9%, and shares of Delek US Holdings, lower by about 4.1% on the day.
