Wednesday 6/26 Insider Buying Report: PX, ATHA

As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.

At P10, a filing with the SEC revealed that on Friday, David M. McCoy bought 20,000 shares of PX, at a cost of $8.21 each, for a total investment of $164,200. P10 is trading trading flat on the day Wednesday. Before this latest buy, McCoy made one other buy in the past year, purchasing $136,247 shares at a cost of $9.73 each.

And on Monday, Kelly A. Romano purchased $100,051 worth of Athira Pharma, purchasing 42,400 shares at a cost of $2.36 a piece. This buy marks the first one filed by Romano in the past twelve months. Athira Pharma is trading up about 3.6% on the day Wednesday. Investors are able to snag ATHA even cheaper than Romano did, with the stock changing hands as low as $2.25 in trading on Wednesday -- that's 4.6% under Romano's purchase price.
