The iShares U.S. Small-Cap Equity Factor ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 595,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 74,000. Shares of SMLF were down about 0.9% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Gamestop, trading up about 0.9% with over 58.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Sofi Technologies, off about 1.2% on volume of over 11.2 million shares. Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 12.8% on the day, while Corecivic is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Small-Cap Equity Factor ETF, trading lower by about 20.1%.
