In trading on Tuesday, metals & mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4.5%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Ivanhoe Electric, down about 12.1% and shares of Ramaco Resources off about 9.9% on the day.

Also lagging the market Tuesday are precious metals shares, down on the day by about 4.5% as a group, led down by Western Copper & Gold, trading lower by about 9.3% and Sibanye Stillwater, trading lower by about 9.2%.
