Treasury Wine Estates Limited has announced the acquisition of a 75% stake in Ningxia Stone & Moon Winery Co. Ltd for approximately A$27.5 million, marking a strategic investment in China’s luxury wine market. This move aligns with TWE’s strategy to grow its luxury wine portfolio and strengthens the presence of its Penfolds brand in China. The acquisition is expected to conclude in the second half of 2025, with an option to acquire the remaining 25% in the future.
