Transat A.T. Swings To Loss In Q3

(RTTNews) - On Thursday, Transat A.T. Inc. (TRZ.TO) reported a loss in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the profit in the same quarter last year.

Net loss for the period was C$106.6 million or C$2.60 per share, compared to the profit of C$399.8 million or C$9.97 per share a year ago.

Adjusted net loss widened to C$89.49 million or C$2.18 per share from C$11.75 million or C$0.28 per share in the previous year.

Adjusted EBITDA loss was C$0.95 million compared to earnings of C$81.18 million last year.

Revenues rose by 3% to C$792.7 million from C$766.3 million in the previous year.

For the fourth quarter of 2026, the company expects a 2% increase in capacity, measured in available seat-miles, compared to 2025.

On the Toronto Stock Exchange, the shares were trading 2.28 percent lower at C$2.1400.
