The Invesco S&P SmallCap Quality ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 188,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 33,000. Shares of XSHQ were up about 0.9% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Sunpower, trading down about 3.4% with over 2.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Patterson-uti Energy, up about 3.8% on volume of over 1.8 million shares. Diodes is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 5.8% on the day, while Powell Industries is lagging other components of the Invesco S&P SmallCap Quality ETF, trading lower by about 5%.
