Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: FEX
The First Trust Large Cap Core AlphaDEX Fund ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 315,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 62,000. Shares of FEX were up about 0.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Tesla, trading off about 0.6% with over 89.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Palantir Technologies, up about 4.8% on volume of over 56.4 million shares. Splunk is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 5.3% on the day, while Arista Networks is lagging other components of the First Trust Large Cap Core AlphaDEX Fund ETF, trading lower by about 4.5%.
