The SPDR S&P 400 Mid Cap Value ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 908,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 135,000. Shares of MDYV were off about 1.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Gamestop, trading down about 6.6% with over 14.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and New York Community Bancorp, up about 1% on volume of over 11.7 million shares. First Industrial Realty Trust is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 2.8% on the day, while Texas Capital Bancshares is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P 400 Mid Cap Value ETF, trading lower by about 8.2%.
