In trading on Thursday, the Copper Miners ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 5.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of First Quantum Minerals, up about 8.7% and shares of Hudbay Minerals, up about 6.1% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Invesco KBW Bank ETF, off about 2.2% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of JP Morgan Chase, lower by about 4.1%, and shares of East West Bancorp, lower by about 4% on the day.
