Thursday Sector Leaders: Defense, Railroads
In trading on Thursday, defense shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 2.9%. Leading the group were shares of Lockheed Martin, up about 8.9% and shares of L3Harris Technologies up about 3.9% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are railroads shares, up on the day by about 2.1% as a group, led by CSX, trading higher by about 5.5% and Norfolk Southern, trading higher by about 4.5% on Thursday.
